I, Rod Western, am a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ).  I hold a Bachelor of Business in Accounting achieved at Curtin University in Western Australia and a Diploma of Financial Planning achieved through CPA Australia. I am a registered tax agent.  I have worked at partner level in Accounting throughout Western Australia for over 20 years. I have also recently attained the 'business valuation specialisation' of CAANZ.

 

I am suitably qualified and experienced to assess any businesses value.  In decades of public practice experience, I have studied and personally been involved with dozens of business sale transactions.  In addition, I have availed myself of as much current and up to date information available to me regarding the sale of small to medium business entities.

 

I am also in a position to offer solid tax planning advice and ongoing tax management.  I tirelessly work to legally minimise all of my clients taxable income, as I believe that is my duty as my clients tax agent.  

 

Good tax planning is a natural bi-product of good business planning.  I have spent many years, and money, developing my business planning expertise, and am in a position to consult to my clients in planning and developing their business.  

 

I am very focused on business growth, and achieve the best results with businesses who are hungry to grow, develop, and expand; whilst maintaining a strong focus on monitoring profit by actually using accounting information for what its meant for - to help business owners and managers make decisions.
